Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant to deliver venipuncture and clinical support while serving as the first point of contact for patients. You will help with front desk tasks, coordinating patient flow, scheduling and basic administrative duties to ensure a seamless experience.

You will also master our tech stack (Slack, G‑Suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR) and support multiple offices.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training.
• An active phlebotomy certification to practice in CA.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience working with diverse, multi‑disciplinary teams; remote teams a plus.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE in all patient interactions to ensure a fluid in‑office experience.
• Provide venipuncture services across age ranges per location.
• Perform extended duties: non‑blood collection, EKGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD, swabs.
• Maintain proper specimen labeling, handling and sterilization.
• Answer patient messages, follow up on lab cases, assist providers with clerical tasks.
• Front of house duties: check in/out, insurance verification, paperwork handling.
• Contribute to team development through huddles and problem solving.
• Open/close duties and maintain office look, restock supplies.
• Master technology suite (Slack, G‑suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR).
