Job summary

One Medical in Boston, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant to deliver venipuncture and clinical support while creating an exceptional patient experience. You will be the first contact and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced, patient-centered office.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months medical assistant or phlebotomy experience, strong communication, and familiarity with multiple software systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of relevant experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training/externship
• Strong customer service skills with ability to build relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with typing and using multiple software systems
• Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams; comfort with remote teams is a plus
• Proven ability to stay composed and deliver compassionate patient-centered care during venipuncture

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and extended scope duties (e.g., EKGs/ECGs, vital signs, vaccines)
• Provide front desk support including check-in/check-out and insurance verification
• Assist with lab-related clerical tasks and patient messaging follow-ups
• Maintain accurate specimen labeling, handling, and inventory
• Ensure a clean, welcoming, on-brand office lobby and patient experience
• Master the technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR) for daily work
