Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant at our Boston office. You will perform venipuncture and clinical support, while also serving as the first point of contact for patients and assisting with front desk duties and administrative tasks.

The role blends lab and patient-facing responsibilities to ensure a seamless patient experience. You will work in a team-driven environment, using our tech stack and communicating with providers to support care delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to establish relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems (typing, internet navigation, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Deliver venipuncture and clinical support services for patients.
• Serve as front-door ambassador and manage the office lobby experience.
• Handle patient messages and assist providers with clerical tasks.
• Assist with billing inquiries and insurance verification as needed.
• Maintain office space cleanliness and look to reflect One Medical branding.
• Master technology tools (Slack, G Suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR).
• Open and close office duties and restock supplies as required.
• Collaborate with team during huddles and problem-solving sessions.
