Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist (Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant) in San Rafael, CA. You will provide venipuncture and clinical support while ensuring a welcoming, on-brand patient experience in both the lobby and lab areas.

You’ll handle front desk duties, patient messages, and clerical tasks, supporting providers and the virtual medical team. A CA phlebotomy certification and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Active phlebotomy certification to practice in CA.
• 6+ months of relevant experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and extended scope duties as needed.
• Manage front desk duties including check-in/check-out and insurance verification.
• Respond to patient messages and assist providers and the medical team.
• Support billing inquiries and DOH reporting as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized lobby and office spaces.
