Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Lab Services Specialist to provide venipuncture and clinical support at Strawberry Village, 750 Redwood Highway, Mill Valley, CA. You’ll work with a diverse care team and ensure patient-centered encounters in a local office and district setting.

The role reports to the Operations Manager, with a focus on quality specimen collection and respectful, calming patient experiences in person with our team and patients.

Qualifications

• Active phlebotomy certification to practice in CA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer technology (typing, web, multi-software use).
• Experience working on collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams; remote teams a plus.
• Experience with extended scope care including non-blood specimen collection and processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture services from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Perform and assist with extended scope duties (non-blood collection, EKGs, vitals, vaccines, tests).
• Maintain high standards of specimen labeling, handling, processing, inventory, and sterilization.
• Support providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties and DOH reporting.
• Master EMR and collaboration tools (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life).
