Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Lab Services Specialist to deliver venipuncture and clinical support for patients in SF. You will join our primary care team, performing specimen collections and processing with a patient-centered, calming approach.

Responsibilities include extended scope tasks, patient communication, and clerical support while using EMR and collaboration tools to coordinate care with providers and the virtual medical team.

Qualifications

• Active phlebotomy certification to practice in CA with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with typing, internet and multiple software systems.
• Experience in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams including remote work a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture services from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Assist with extended scope duties: non-blood specimens, EKGs, vaccines, swabs, vitals.
• Label, handle and process specimens with high accuracy and sterile technique.
• Answer patient messages and support clinic operations with providers and staff.
• Master EMR and collaboration tools to complete daily tasks.
