Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Laboratory Services Specialist / Member Support Specialist in New York, NY to deliver exceptional venipuncture and clinical support, while ensuring a welcoming in-office experience for patients and teammates.

You’ll manage front-d desk duties, assist providers, and navigate EMR and collaboration tools. A phlebotomy background and strong communication are essential for success in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Direct phlebotomy experience with venipuncture
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with computer systems and multiple software
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience
• Provide venipuncture services from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Perform and assist with extended scope duties (non-blood collection, EKGs, vitals)
• Maintain proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing
• Assist with billing inquiries and medical record reviews
• Handle front-of-house duties (check-in/out, insurance verification)
• Participate in team huddles and problem solving
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office spaces
• Master technology tools to interact with team and complete daily tasks
