Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant at our Atlanta office to deliver exceptional patient care, perform venipuncture, and support both clinical and front-desk operations. You will ensure a welcoming lobby, manage patient flow, and assist providers with clerical tasks in a dynamic primary-care environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate, human-centered service, proficiency with our tech tools, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 6 months of relevant experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training/externship
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency with computer systems and multiple software
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and remote teams a plus
• Ability to deliver patient-centered care during blood collection and other tasks

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions and manage patient intake and scheduling
• Provide venipuncture services across age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Perform and assist with extended scope duties (non-blood collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines, etc)
• Maintain specimen labeling, handling, inventory, and sterilization
• Respond to patient messages and assist providers with clerical duties
• Front desk duties including check-in/out and insurance verification
• Contribute to team development through huddles and problem-solving
• Handle opening/closing duties and office upkeep
• Master technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR)
