Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist (Position 6211) for a contract role covering Montgomery County, MD. The schedule is 1st shift, Mon–Fri, with 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm (EOS 8am–12pm). The engagement is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, recording data, and ensuring proper transport and storage of samples while complying with OSHA/DEP regulations.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate and update patient information as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples per protocols.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations are followed.
