Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Phlebotomist 6211 for a contract role in Montgomery County, MD. The position covers float locations with 1st shift hours, Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, with EOS 8am-12pm.

The main duties include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging specimens, and maintaining accurate patient data, while following OSHA and DEP regulations and contributing to workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data records.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Ensure OSHA/DEP regulations are followed and attend trainings.
