The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a contract Phlebotomist (6211) to cover multiple Montgomery County, MD locations. This float role supports blood draws, labeling, and specimen handling, with a schedule of 1st shift, Mon–Fri, 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm, with EOS 8am–12pm.

Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent employment. Valid phlebotomy certification and a high school diploma are required, plus at least 2 years of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience

Responsabilidades

• Experience performing blood draws and venipuncture.
• Label specimens, centrifuge specimens, and record maintenance data.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures and transport requirements.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and collect specimens.
• Ensure test requisitions match labels and scripts for accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain proper temperatures.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and read laboratory results to address inquiries.
