Job summary

Hire Consulting Services seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Montgomery County, MD. The position covers multiple locations with float assignment; standard shifts are 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, plus half-day EOS.

The project lasts about 3 months with potential for permanent hire. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, data entry, proper transport, and compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months’ venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling per protocol.
• Centrifuge specimens and document maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients.
• Package, store, and transport specimens maintaining integrity.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations; attend trainings.
