Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a focused Donor Center Technician to prepare the pheresis machine, donor area, and supplies for procedures. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and ensure safe, accurate operation of the donor process.

Responsibilities include monitoring donors and machine alarms, recording incidents with a PDA, maintaining data in the donor information system, and upholding HSE/OSHA policies. High school diploma required; 3 months medical experience preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in a medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
Will perform basic math calculations.
Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions.

Responsibilities

Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
Monitor the donor and process; respond to alarms or signals during the process.
Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
Use PDA to record incidents during the pheresis process and to link equipment to the donor.
Ensure accurate donor data entry in the electronic donor information management system.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
Bilingual skills may be required as needed.
Perform job-related duties as assigned.
