Job summary

CSL Vifor seeks a Donor Center Technician to prepare the donor, donor area, and equipment for pheresis. The successful candidate will monitor the donor and machine, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when the process ends.

You will record incidents using the PDA, link equipment to the donor, and ensure accurate data in the electronic donor information system while following SOPs and safety policies. Reports to the Assistant Center Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine and donor area for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and process, respond to alarms, and disconnect donor when complete.
• Maintain safety, notify staff of donor reactions, and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Use PDA to record incidents, link equipment to the donor, and record data in the donor information system.
• Maintain clean work environment and restock supplies; cross-train if needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required; perform duties as assigned.
