Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor pheresis technician to prepare equipment, monitor donors, and respond to alarms during pheresis procedures. You will document incidents using a PDA and ensure accurate donor data in the information system.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 3 months of related experience, with willingness to work in a fast-paced setting and comply with HSE/OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Use PDA to record incidents, link equipment to donors, and track donor data in the system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available.
