Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a detail-oriented Donor Center Technician to prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis processors. You will monitor the donor and process, respond to alarms, disconnect when complete, and ensure safety and accurate data recording using the PDA and electronic donor information system.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work environment, following HSE/OSHA policies, and potential cross-training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months' work experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and equipment linkage using the PDA and donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure adequate supplies.
