Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor center technician to prepare the pheresis equipment and monitor the donor during the procedure. You will record incidents, link equipment to donors in the system, and ensure data accuracy while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and potential cross-training in other areas. Overtime and safety protocols are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent education/experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
• Use PDA to record incidents and link equipment to donors.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and comply with HSE/OSHA policies.
