Job summary

CSL in Stockton, CA is seeking a role responsible for preparing the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis processors. You report to the Assistant Center Manager and are tasked with maintaining safety and accurate donor data throughout the pheresis procedure.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and adherence to SOPs, with potential bilingual requirements. You may be cross-trained and must wear PPE; overtime may be required to support center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three months’ work experience in a medical/health environment.
• Basic math calculations.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain donor confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and equipment data using the PDA.
• Link equipment/consumables to the donor in the system.
• Inform Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
