Job summary

CSL is seeking a dedicated technician at our Texas center to prepare donors, donor area, and equipment for the pheresis process. You will pre-prepare the autopheresis machine and monitor the donor and process, responding to alarms as needed.

You will record incidents using a PDA, link equipment to donors, and ensure accurate donor data in the electronic management system while following SOPs. Bilingual skills may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals that may occur.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
• Uses PDA to record incidents and link equipment to the donor.
