Job summary

CSL is seeking a dedicated Pheresis Technician to support donor pheresis procedures in a clinical setting. You will prepare donors, areas, and equipment, monitor the process, respond to alarms, and ensure accurate data entry and linkage of supplies to each donor. Compliance with SOPs, HSE, and OSHA policies is essential.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork, with potential cross-training in related areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for calculations.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff.
• Record incidents and donor data using a PDA.
• Link equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Alert supervisor of donor flow issues.
