Job summary

CSL is seeking a dedicated team member to prepare donors, donor areas, and pheresis equipment for processing. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and support the pheresis operations to ensure donor safety and data accuracy.

Responsibilities include machine setup, monitoring, alarms response, donor continuity, and accurate data entry in the donor information system, while adhering to HSE/OSHA policies and cross-training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in medical/health provider environment or equivalent.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions during/after the process and notify staff.
• Record incidents and equipment linkage using the PDA.
• Link equipment and soft goods to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Accurately record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
