Job summary

CSL is seeking a role focused on preparing the pheresis machine and donor area for the pheresis process, while ensuring safety and data accuracy. You will monitor the procedure, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when complete.

The position emphasizes following SOPs, maintaining a clean work area, and coordinating with staff to ensure proper equipment and supplies for each donor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of work experience in a medical/health setting.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and process; respond to alarms during the procedure.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality and SOP adherence.
• Record incidents and donor data in PDA and electronic system.
• Link equipment and supplies to the appropriate donor.
• Alert supervisor to donor flow issues.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
