Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician to support our donor services. You will prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process, and ready the autopheresis machine for the procedure.

You will monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms, disconnect the donor when complete, and record incidents and donor data accurately in the center's information systems, while adhering to SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
