Job summary

CSL in Las Vegas is seeking a Plasma Donor Pheresis Technician to support the collection of plasma via pheresis while performing venipuncture and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

You will monitor donor vein performance, educate donors on the process and health considerations, and record data using the donor information system. This role requires attention to safety, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining a compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• California centers require Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or current RN licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for venipuncture to initiate pheresis and monitor the process.
• Educate donors on plasma donation procedures and health considerations.
• Record donor data and incidents using the electronic donor information system.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve alarms or donor issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained to assist in other areas as needed.
