Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor services specialist to collect plasma from donors by performing venipuncture and managing the pheresis process. You will set up donors, monitor during collection, and disconnect after completion, adhering to SOPs and FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities include educating donors, ensuring donor safety, documenting incidents with the PDA, and maintaining equipment and a clean work area in a compliant setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required: state certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR Current RN license in California.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and pheresis procedures following SOPs.
• Set up donor, monitor, and disconnect during pheresis.
• Educate donors on procedures, screening tests, appointment system, and center policies.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic system.
• Troubleshoot equipment alarms and maintain clean, safe work environment.
