Job summary

CSL Vifor in Canton, OH seeks a dedicated pheresis support technician to prepare donors, equipment, and autopheresis machines. You will monitor procedures, respond to alarms, and ensure donor safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities include recording incidents with the PDA, maintaining data accuracy, following SOPs, maintaining a clean work environment, and adhering to HSE/OSHA policies. Some cross-training and bilingual ability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months' work experience in medical/health provider environment preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
