Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking an energized team member to support pheresis operations. You will prepare donor areas, equipment, and the autopheresis machine, while monitoring donors and responding to alarms during the pheresis procedure.

The role includes recording incidents in the PDA, linking equipment to donors, and maintaining accurate donor data per SOPs, with strict adherence to safety and confidentiality policies. Some cross-training and bilingual ability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in a medical/health provider environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff.
• Record incidents, machine alerts, volume variances and donor events in the PDA.
• Link equipment and consumables to the donor in the system.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic system as per SOPs.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor and center information.
• Cross-training possible in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
