CSL Vifor seeks an apheresis support technician to assist with donor preparation and equipment setup for pheresis procedures. You will monitor ongoing processes, respond to alarms, and safely disconnect donors when complete. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in a medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responding to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to any donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Ensure clean, safe work environment and maintain supplies; follow HSE and OSHA policies.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed; bilingual skills may be required.
