Job summary

CSL Plasma is looking for a Donor Support Technician to support donor procedures at the Greensboro center. You will prepare donors, equipment and the pheresis area, monitor the process, and respond to alarms while maintaining safety and accurate data recording.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of three months’ healthcare-related experience with basic math skills. Cross-training and adherence to SOPs and safety policies are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA, linking equipment and supplies to the donor.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow SOPs and safety policies.
