Job summary

CSL is seeking a candidate to assist with preparing the donor area and equipment for pheresis processors. The role involves monitoring the donor during the procedure, responding to alarms, and ensuring a safe, efficient workflow.

The position requires basic math, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow SOPs while maintaining donor confidentiality. Prior health-provider experience is preferred; high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in medical or health provider environment is preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and equipment linkage in the PDA and donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow OSHA/HSE policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
