CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician to support donor pheresis procedures. You will prepare donors, equipment, and the autopheresis machine, while monitoring the donor and responding to alarms to ensure a safe, efficient process.

You will document incidents using the PDA, ensure proper data entry, and maintain a clean work environment. Some roles may be cross-trained to meet center needs, and bilingual skills may be required.

Competenze

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months experience in a medical/health provider setting or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Mansioni

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and machine data in the PDA.
• Link equipment and supplies to the donor in the system.
• Alert supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor information system.
• Comply with HSE and OSHA policies and promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas.
