Job summary

CSL Plasma in Peoria, AZ is seeking a donor services technician to support pheresis procedures. You will prepare donors, donor areas, and equipment, monitor the process, and ensure accurate data entry while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 3 months in a medical setting, basic math skills, and may require bilingual abilities. Cross-training and adherence to SOPs are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and link equipment to the donor in the system.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues and ensure accurate donor data entry in the information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain donor privacy and confidentiality; may be cross-trained in other areas.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
