Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process. You will monitor the donor and process, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when the procedure ends.

You will maintain a compliant, safe work environment, record incidents with the PDA, and ensure accurate donor data in the electronic system. A high school diploma and 3 months' medical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months' work experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine and donor area for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain safety and promptly report donor reactions.
• Record incidents and link equipment to donors using PDA and the donor information system.
• Ensure accurate donor data recording per SOPs.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and maintain a clean work area.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
