Job summary

Healthfirst is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to serve as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists to improve adherence and minimize therapy gaps. You will manage refills, new prescriptions, appointment setup, and access barriers while documenting care and coordinating MTM interventions with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician or licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to support adherence and identify barriers.
• Facilitate refills and new prescriptions, schedule appointments, assist with access to medications.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with Healthfirst Pharmacists and external partners.
• Monitor member medication adherence with community pharmacies.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications telephonically (in person if needed).
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
