Job summary

Healthfirst seeks a Pharmacy Technician to serve as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists to improve adherence and coordinating MTM interventions with pharmacists and providers.

You will assist with refills, new prescriptions, and communications with members and community pharmacies, documenting care and aiming to reduce therapy gaps. A national certification or licensed technician is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists on medication issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication, professional demeanor.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) or licensed/registered technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to improve adherence and reduce barriers.
• Facilitate refills and new prescriptions and coordinate care with providers.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with Healthfirst pharmacists and partners.
• Communicate member medication adherence with community pharmacies.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications (phone or in person).
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
