Job summary

Healthfirst seeks a Pharmacy Technician to serve as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists to improve adherence and minimize gaps in therapy. You will obtain refills, set up new prescriptions, and coordinate MTM interventions with internal and external partners while assisting members with access to medications.

The role emphasizes collaboration with community pharmacies, health assessments, and clear communication with patients and providers to support safe, effective medication use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers and pharmacists on medication issues.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) or licensed/registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to improve adherence and reduce barriers.
• Assist members with refills, new prescriptions, appointments and access to medications.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with Healthfirst pharmacists and partners.
• Communicate with community pharmacies about member adherence.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications by phone (in person when needed).
• Perform other duties as necessary.
