Job summary

CVS Health is recruiting a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in a CVS Retail location. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice, under a pharmacist preceptor, gaining hands-on experience while delivering safe, efficient patient care.

You will learn to operate within SOPs, support immunizations and patient services, and progressively handle greater responsibilities as you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• ACPE accreditation or active enrollment in a pharmacy program.
• Valid intern/technician licensure or in the process of obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and evolving responsibilities within the pharmacy team.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and store policy to maintain patient safety and service quality.
• Engage with patients to provide empathetic service and gather relevant medical history where appropriate.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services as allowed by state regulations.
• Participate in basic inventory activities and shift coverage as needed.
