Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice in our retail pharmacy teams. You will work under a preceptor to complete a hands-on training roadmap, supporting operations, prescriptions, immunizations, and patient care while learning store and district-level processes.

You will participate in SOP adherence, customer service, and ongoing professional development, with opportunities to travel within the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Support immunizations and other services as allowed by state law and certification.
• Provide empathetic customer service and assist patients with questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Complete basic inventory activities and assist with store operations as directed.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to other stores as needed.
