Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our retail pharmacy team. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, following SOPs and contributing to safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care.

You’ll complete a comprehensive training roadmap, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations while developing leadership and clinical skills for future Pharmacist roles.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy is required or actively pursued.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure, in process, as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks while adapting to shifting patient and business needs.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Perform basic math for dispensing quantities and patient day supply.
• Resolve patient questions and escalate issues as needed.
• Support immunization services and in-store clinic initiatives.
