Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in a real-world retail pharmacy setting. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, and learn store, district, and regional operations while supporting safe and timely prescriptions.

You will contribute to a caring, compliant environment, perform immunization-related duties where allowed, and develop professional skills for a future Pharmacist role within CVS Health.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to become immunization certified once state regulations are met.
• Ability to work across the market to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to patient safety and service quality.
• Demonstrate empathy and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and vaccination questions where allowed.
• Support pharmacy team with accurate prescription processing and inventory tasks.
