Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our Retail pharmacy teams. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to complete a comprehensive training roadmap covering store operations, patient care, and immunization services.

This part-time program emphasizes hands-on experience, flexible scheduling, and growth toward a Pharmacist role through SOP adherence, prescription processing support, and patient counseling.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians
• Assist with prescription fulfillment including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off
• Counsel patients under supervision of a licensed pharmacist and collect needed medical history
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescriber when allowed
• Support immunizations and other vaccine-related services as trained and permitted
