Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our Retail locations. You will work under a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap that shows you what it takes to be part of a pharmacy team while gaining insight into store and district operations.

You will help ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and promptly, while learning SOPs and collaborating with pharmacists and technicians to deliver caring service

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required, in progress or obtained.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and Technicians.
• Fill prescriptions accurately and safely to ensure patient safety.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and support immunization efforts per state law.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and returns under supervision of licensed staff.
• Provide compassionate service and maintain a patient‑centered approach.
