Job summary

CVS Health in our Retail locations is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real‑world practice under a preceptor. You will participate in a structured training roadmap, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, timely dispensing, provide caring service to patients, and learn SOPs. The role also offers opportunities to support immunizations and other clinical services where allowed.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an ACPE‑accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians.
Support prescription processing, dispensing, and patient safety.
Counsel patients, gather medical history, and address questions under supervision.
Assist with immunizations and other clinical services where permitted.
Maintain inventory, complete cycle counts, and restock supplies.
Provide coaching and mentorship to pharmacy staff as directed.
