Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice, under a preceptor, across store, district, and regional operations.

You will gain hands-on experience through a training roadmap with KLEs, activities, and leaders, assisting the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and promptly, and learning SOPs, communication, and empathetic patient service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with prescription fulfilment and customer service.
• Provide empathetic patient care and counseling under supervision.
• Travel between stores in the market as needed.
