Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS Pharmacy locations. You will follow a detailed training roadmap under a preceptor, supporting pharmacists and learning store, district, and regional operations.

As a pharmacy intern, you will help ensure safe, accurate dispensing, assist with immunizations where allowed, and gain exposure to patient counseling, SOP adherence, and a collaborative team environment across shifts.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and support pharmacists with clinical and operational duties.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety in all interactions.
• Participate in training roadmap and gain hands-on experience across store operations.
