Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in a real-world setting within our pharmacy teams. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, and develop toward a Pharmacist role while delivering safe, accurate patient care.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and smooth operations.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision, and support immunization and point-of-care services as allowed by law.
• Maintain high level of accuracy in labeling and dispensing, following SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient service with empathy, support, and clear communication.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern/technician licensure in process or obtained
