Job summary

Bayer in the United States is seeking a supply chain operations leader to oversee daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities for the Hematology and Specialty Pharma portfolios, coordinating resources, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliant service delivery across the US PH market.

You will drive NDC-12 readiness, collaborate with IT, Master Data, Regulatory, Finance and Commercial teams, and lead cross-functional plans, risk management and readiness reporting in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience working in regulated pharmaceutical environments and with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner‑managed, 3PL‑supported, or contract‑controlled supply models is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support. Maintain oversight of third-party operations at Accenture and serve as the escalation point for operational, customer, supply and billing issues;
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models, and act as a subject-matter expert for contracts, operational controls and audit inquiries;
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to develop tailored solutions for customers. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with account managers, sales, finance, and marketing teams to enhance customer engagement;
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments and readiness activities across master data, SAP and system interfaces, serialization, customer operations, pricing, contracting, government pricing and special programs;
• Align cross-functional requirements and standards, dependencies and controls with interfacing functions, such as IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, Compliance and external partners;
