Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients, manage a multi-line phone system, greet visitors, and support seamless care coordination in a veterinary setting.

You will handle medical records, appointments, and financial transactions while upholding compassionate care and excellent customer service. A 2–4 year veterinary experience and flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of veterinary experience is required.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset; able to work independently and with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain medical records, manage appointments, handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventive care and hospital services.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients and treat each pet with care.
