Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a receptionist to join our nationwide network of veterinary teams. You will be the first point of contact, manage phones, greeting clients, and coordinate care and records to keep the hospital running smoothly.

We value compassionate care, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays is required to support our patient-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing excellent customer service and love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset and ability to work independently or with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and reflect compassionate care in every interaction.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure optimal pet care.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: provide a calming presence for clients and treat each pet like your own.
