Job summary

Petsense is looking for a team member to support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving operational, sales and merchandising goals while delivering outstanding customer service. The role emphasizes safety, training, and helping customers with live animals and product needs in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates have retail experience or pet knowledge, are at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and can read, write, and count accurately.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing basic, promotional, and seasonal merchandising activities.
• Perform Opening/Closing procedures.
• Assist in loss prevention and safety compliance.
• Resolve customer complaints/issues to ensure a positive experience.
